Gibson Les Paul Standard in Wine Red with original Gibson case

Manufactured in 1996, this is a solid body Les Paul without the cavities that appear in later 2006 models onwards and is therefore very heavy.

60's low profile neck with very low action and perfect intonation, plays like a dream and has sustain like no other guitar......

All completely original hardware with Gibson Chrome / Green Key Machine heads and cream scratch plate that can be removed if preferred.

Looks gorgeous in Wine Red and has never been gigged, only some studio rehearsals. No fret wear at all and no buckle rash which is common in most used guitars. Does have a couple of very minor dinks in the front face that are really too small to even be seen in pictures or unless really close up.

Has one small repair from an accident in late 1990's that can be seen next to the Rhythm tone control and shows a slight colour difference but the lacquer is perfectly repaired and barely noticeable except at point blank range.

This guitar has been owned and loved since new (1996) but played quite rarely - I've got lots!

Comes from a smoke free home and the fur inside the case even still has that brand new smell as soon as you open the case.

I will not ship this guitar due to value / size and weight so it's for local collection from Chelmsford area only.
